Summer Fun: Pt. 4

O, Canada!
I'm becoming consistent...but don't get too comfortable with it, because once school starts this consistency will end.
This summer, we spent Canada day with our relatives up north in the grand old country of Canada. It was fun relaxing, enjoying cool weather, visiting family, and reminiscing.

Isn't it beautiful?!

Mom, Dad, and me

Cousin Brent and me examining something.

This restaurant was entirely covered in flannel.

Appetizing?

A cutsey ice cream and candy shop. They wouldn't sell me their "Belle" pez dispenser. :(

Hmmm...I still don't know what to think about this. Does it really matter where your ice comes from?

Fun at the lake
Sisters!

This is by far, the best picture of the trip. HAHAHAHA

Summer Fun: Pt. 3

Moving on through the Euro trip! After traveling through Germany, we headed over to England to visit the Giles family in Brighton. It was a jolly good time. We enjoyed relaxing after rushing around Germany and had so much fun with Jamie, Ryan, and Lincoln. (Ellie was still in the womb)

This is how we slept in the airport when we were waiting for our flight. Looks comfortable, right?

These next pictures are things we thought were amusing...

I think this picture speaks for itself.

Nice...

!

Now we are back to normal pictures.

We went to a funny zoo/playground/water park. They had a Thomas train there that Link just LOVED.

Summer Fun: Pt. 2

I'm still just in may with my summer fun series!!! These pictures were taken during the Germany portion of our Europe trip this summer. One of Ashley's mission companions (Bonnie) was from Germany and she met up with us and traveled around the country. It was a very fun trip and I learned a lot about Germany while I was there.

Shortly After arriving in Germany

Taking a shnooze after a long day of travel in the deluxe Presidential Suite

Sipping some juice on the terrace in Germany

Listening to some interesting factoids in the Nazi museum.

I believe Dad said something along the lines of "Pose with the car that was driven on the Auto Bahn!" We went 126 MPH on the AB. Yes, mph. It was scary.

Mom and I enjoying our gingerbread.

Celebrating Blue Nacht! (I don't know how to say blue in german)

The church is still true in Germany!! :)
